Hi every one. Well, it finaly happened. The Steam Locomotive has moved to it's new home in Ft. Pierce, Florida. She was moved on Saturday, June 13, 2009. We left the Hiaheah yard about 7:45 am an hour and a half late and pulled into the Ft. Pierce yard at about 4:00 PM, almost 2 and a half hours early. Great job to the Crew of the # 253 and the FECRW Engineers who helped move the the train.

Here is our address. Look for this sign about one half mile down N. Second Street on the left.

We work every Saturday on the Museum. If you would like to help just follow the Railroad Tracks. We start about 10:00 AM.

How to get here. From US 1 north or south, go to avenue H in Ft. Pierce, FL. You see Allen's Dinner on the Northwest corner and the railroad crossing to the east. Go over the RR crossing about one block, turn left on to N. Second Street. We are about one half mile down on the left hand side. Please drive slow as the road is rough. From I 95 you may take either Rt. 70 east to US 1 or Orange Ave. East to US 1 and turn left going north to Avenue H.
